From The Desk of the Apostle: Daily Challenges
As women, we face challenges that try our faith at the very core of our soul. Women are expected to to fulfill
roles as mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunties, wives, friends and associates, to balance home and juggle a career
and/or profession and still be a loving and exciting woman a man can come home to every night to embrace and made
to feel he is the king of his own castle.
Small children want to be able to cuddle and nest safely in your arms at the end of the day often demanding
your attention and affection, others bombard you with their problems and concerns, expecting you to provide a listening
ear and words of encouragement, advice or counsel. No, it's not easy being a woman. People expect a whole
lot from you, parents, spouses, girlfriends, siblings, relatives and those you associate with each and every day.
Yet, there are times when women need encouragement. A gentle reminder that everything is going to be
alright and not to worry about tomorrow, it will take care of itself. Women want and desire to feel that
security of knowing that someone loves and cares about them, that they can trust those who they have given so much of themselves
to, without expecting much in return.
To you, my sisters the words is this column are written. Just to shine some glimmer of hope, encouragement and
inspiration to remind you that even though you may be vulnerable, you are stronger than you ever imagined. Through the
maze of hurt, guilt, pain and shame that so many women have endured, there is a brighter tomorrow and there is a rainbow behind
every dark cloud. Just keep the faith and know that God is with you, and He will never leave nor forsake you, always
remember that you are one of a kind, there is no one of the face of this earth like you, you are wonderfully
created and designed by God, and God doesn't make mistakes,

The U in JesUs
Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God even stuck U in the name of His Son.
And each time U pray, you'll
see it's true
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.
You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.
And His great love for
U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.
Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?
The stones split away, the
gold trUmpet blew,
and this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.
When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.
"Go into the
world and tell them it's true
That I love them all - Just like I love U."
So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?
It all depends now on what
U will do,
He'd like them to know, But it all starts with U.

THE CHAYIL WOMAN
"WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE"
Is based on Proverbs Chapter 31: Verses
10-31
Description: "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Many daqughters have done
virtously, but thou excellest them all."
Duties: She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She looketh well to the
ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise
her in the gates"
Employment: "She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant."
Mission: "She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy."
Attire: "She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple."
Character: "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come."
Speech: "She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness."
Family: "The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do
him good and not evil all the days of her life. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he
praiseth her."
